It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Andrew Gallagher, who departed this life on September 27, 2025, at the age of 61. Jeff was born on April 9, 1964, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Richard and Beverly Gallagher.

Jeff will be remembered not only as a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, but also as someone whose presence could instantly brighten any room. His quick wit, easy laughter, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor made him the heart of every gathering. Whether with family, friends, or even strangers, Jeff had the remarkable gift of making people feel welcome, comfortable, and valued. He never missed a chance to share a joke, a story, or a laugh—and through those moments, he created lasting memories for all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patty, and their two sons, Kyle and Andrew. He is also survived by his brother Greg, sister-in-law Susan, and their children Trent (godson), Megan, and Amanda; by his brother Kevin, sister-in-law Lisa, and their children Cole and Delaney; as well as extended family and countless friends whose lives he touched. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beverly.

Throughout his life, Jeff embraced a passion for golf, water sports, and the outdoors, finding peace on the course, on the water, and in nature. Beyond his hobbies, he built a reputation as a kind, loyal, and generous soul. His professional life reflected the same dedication and integrity he showed in his personal relationships, earning him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

But more than achievements or pastimes, Jeff's true legacy lies in how he lived—with joy, humility, humor, and an unwavering devotion to his loved ones. He had the rare ability to light up a room simply by walking into it, and his laughter and kindness left a mark that will never fade.

A wake will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187 on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share in remembering a life so well lived.
