Jeffrey John Babecki, age 46, a resident of Lombard died after a battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 16 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood. He was born on September 10, 1962 in Chicago.

Jeff graduated from Glenbard East in 1980. On February 2, 1990 he married Julie Stucky. They attended Village Green Baptist Church in Glen Ellyn. He was self employed in the construction field and was always helping others.

He is survived by his wife, Julie, two daughters, Allyssa and Amber, one sister, Candace (Joseph) Senese of Hinsdale, two brothers, William Babecki of Lisle and Gregory Babecki of Carol Stream, and a nephew, Gabriel Babecki. He is also survived by his aunt Rosemary Babecki Morgan of Western Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorrayne Babecki, and a nephew, Damian Zanon.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Village Green Baptist Church, 200 S. Lambert Road, in Glen Ellyn. Interment is private.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Jeffrey Babecki Memorial Fund, c/o 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187 to be used for his children.
