It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Jean A. Moritz (nee Miller) age 85, beloved daughter of the late Lyle P. Miller, and late Margaretta A. Miller, on July 9, 2020. Jean was the loving wife of the late William D. Moritz, with whom she grew up in the Englewood neighborhood. She was the adored mother of William D. Moritz Jr. (Kathy Meyer), Sharon A. (Thomas) Thompson, Mary E. Moritz, Brian P. (Vanessa) Moritz, and Ann M. (Pat) Greenfield. Jean cherished her grandchildren, Lindsey (Arne) Geest, Michael (Courtney) Moritz, Ryan Moritz, Jack and Erin Thompson, Patrick, Christopher, and Allison Greenfield, and was the proud great-grandmother of Gabriella, Erik, Larissa, Declan, Aiden, and Benjamin. Jean was the beloved little sister of the late Joan (John) Noyes, late Jack (Bobbie) Miller, late Jim (Jean) Miller, and late Jerry (Joanne) Miller, and the fond sister-in-law of the late Howie (Marge) Moritz, and late Jim (Jerry Clark) Moritz. She was the aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Jean will be lovingly remembered on at a private funeral mass at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
