Jean Levy's Obituary
Jean Levy, nee Rutza, age 90, a 37 year resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, November 1, 2010 at home after a lengthy illness. She was born November 2, 1919 in Oak Park, IL.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur; loving mother of Gail (James) Schroeder, David (Barbara) and Thomas Levy; devoted grandmother of eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her dear sister Marjorie (Warren) Hughes.
Jean was an avid golfer, gardener and bridge player. She was a long time volunteer in the local food pantry and a member at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will follow the service at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton, IL 60187; or to the charity of your choice.
