Jean S. Baum, age 96, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, a former resident of the Chicago area, and a former longtime resident of Springfield, died Tuesday, January 5, at Windsor Park. She was born on May 7, 1913 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Mrs. Baum worked with her husband, Dr. Adam Baum who was a pastor in four American Baptist churches through out Illinois.
She is survived by a son, Robert; three granddaughters, Aimee (Von) Belser, Cindy (Marcel) Cutler-Skacel and Tammy (Dave) Randa, and three great-granddaughters, Mary and Maylee Skacel and Eden Belser. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Margaret Quatier and a step-son, John Murphy and his family.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Mary Ann Cutler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main, in Wheaton, where services will be held at 2:00. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park.
