Jarrod A. Barstatis, 43, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 3, 2012. He was born on September 1, 1968, the son of Robert and Linda Barstatis. Jarrod grew up in Wheaton and graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1986. He worked for a number of local companies with a primary focus on the construction trades.
Jarrod had a keen interest in history especially American history. He was gifted mechanically and was always willing to help others using his God given talents. He loved animals especially cats where his gentle side would be on full display.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Linda; his partner Jose Manalo; his brothers and sisters, Lindsay (Tunk), Shahni, Lisha (Denius), Noah, Charles, Kenny, Lizzy, Precious, and Nellie.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents: his brothers Brett, Moses, Gemari, and sister Chante.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 10th, 4 p.m. at All Souls Church, 25w741 Jewell Road, Wheaton, IL Phone 630-344-9510.
