She used her cooking, baking, and decorating skills to provide meals for many of her family, friends, and churchgoers. She had a great love for animals and worked tirelessly to help feral cats in her area. Her adopted cats, Jack, Georgie, Gracie, and Chin will greatly miss her.
Janet is survived by her brother James Levey, of Aurora, IL and by sister-in-law Diana Eggleston, of Clearwater, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held on Tuesday, July 28th, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle, IL at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made to any local animal shelter with a no-kill policy in Janet's name.
