Jane M. Solon's Obituary
Jane M. Solon, age 88, a resident of Brighton Gardens in Wheaton, formerly of Downers Grove, died Wednesday, October 24, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born August 13, 1919 in Chicago.
Jane worked for Pepperidge Farm in Downers Grove for 14 years in the Human Resources Department.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susan (Bill) Butler of Marietta, GA, Cathy (Ralph) Tolbert of Lancaster, OH, and Jayne (Richard) Miller of Wheaton, IL; nine grandchildren, Kelly Butler-Sodel, Amy Butler-Strickland, Julie Butler, Totten, Mindy Butler-Gurr, of Marietta, GA, Clint Tolbert, Brad Tolbert, of Lancaster, OH, Susie Miller-Peterson, Sara Miller-Haumesser and Jayson Miller of Wheaton, IL; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James P. Solon.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 16, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 310 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to CNS/Hospice of DuPage, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
