Jane V. Lindell's Obituary
Jane V. Lindell, age 93, a resident of Fairhaven Christian Retirement Community in Rockford, died Friday, October 1, 2010 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 19, 1917 in Chicago.
Mrs. Lindell worked for Hospital Topics and the Baptist General Conference. She was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church in Rockford. She enjoyed cooking, handwork, reading and travel.
She is survived by two children, Bruce Lindell and Barbara (Ronald) Martin, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a brother, Dr. Will Norton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilding Lindell and her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m.. at First Evangelical Free Church, 2223 N. Mulford Rd., Rockford with Rev Jerry Lindell officiating.
Private interment will take place at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
