Obituary
James Arthur Macorkel Jr., 51, a resident of West Chicago, died Thursday, August 19 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He was born January 21, 1953 in Chicago.
Mr. Macorkel served for 20 years in the US Navy retiring in 1995 as 1st Class Petty Officer. He had a great love for the Chicago Bears. He was known as a hero to his two sons. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years Josefina; his sons Eric and Kevin Allen Macorkel ; his father James Arthur Macorkel Sr. ,his step mother Caroline Macorkel; and his sister Dale (Robert) Giomi.
Visitation will be held Sunday August 29th 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home 304 N. Main Street Wheaton. Funeral services will be Monday August 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Wheaton Wesleyan Church 1300 S. President with Rev. Gil Valenzuela officiating. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Il.
