James Grisamore, age 69, beloved husband, father, and friend, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2025, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Jim was born on August 17, 1956, to Dr. Thomas L. Grisamore and Mary Speer Grisamore of Wilmette, Illinois.

Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Amy, his children, and their families. Drew (Emma) and their children Ainsley and Sawyer; Jody (Alex) and their daughter Mila; and Mark (Simone) and their son James. He is also survived by his sister Linda, brother Tom, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John.

Jim had a fulfilling 40-year career of banking in Treasury Services. He was respected by his colleagues and those he worked with throughout his professional life.

Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with family and lifelong friends and found happiness relaxing at the lake house, being on the water, and walking on the Prairie Path with his golden retriever, Cally. He was also a dedicated fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jim's integrity, kind heart, and loyalty were reflections of his Christian faith, and his sense of humor and love of others brought joy to family and friends alike.

A visitation will be held at College Church in Wheaton, 332 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held privately.
