James J. Flynn, age 75, a resident of Wheaton, Illinois, died June 19, 2021, at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, Illinois.  He was born September 28, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois.

Jim served four years as a Computer Technician in the United States Air Force, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Upon returning back to the states, Jim spent most of his career in accounting software sales.

Jim had many lifelong friends going all the way back to his Christ the King Elementary School Class of 59' and Brother Rice High School class of 63'. Jim, Peggy, Les and friends spent three years planning the 50th Elementary school reunion and had a ball, with 69 fellow graduates attending the event. Jim relished his time vacationing at The Rushes in Door County for over 40 years with family and friends. He loved golf, playing many rounds all over the country with his buddies throughout his life. Many great meals, drinks, and friendships were formed at Ki's restaurant throughout the years. Spending time with Mel, Sally, and friends at the Bechina Lodge, playing pool, bar dice, and boating is where many of his most cherished memories were made. Jim loved being Irish.

He is survived by his son, James (Rhonda) Flynn and granddaughter Sam of Chicago, Illinois, Nephews, Max Bechina, Joe Flynn, and Nieces Brandy Stroh, Erin Flynn and his special friend of 17 years Leanne Mars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Helen Flynn, and twin brother George Flynn.

A memorial service will be held at Highpoint Church, 1805 High Point Drive, Naperville, Illinois 60563 on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
