Jade Riemer, age 53, a resident of Naperville, IL, passed away, Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born October 31, 1968 in Xian, China to Sizhen Xie & Xiue Wang.

Jade grew up in China and in her late 20's immigrated to America with the assistance of Sue & Tom Carey, who remained an important presence in her life. She attended University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance. Jade met her husband Ron after she graduated college and they were married in 2003. She began her career as an accountant at the Field Museum in Chicago. She left her full time career as an accountant to become a full time mother when her daughter Sarah was born in 2007. Their son Michael was born in 2010. When Sarah and Michael were older, she resumed part-time work as an accountant while remaining a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her children Sarah & Michael; her mother Xiue Wang; her brother Xiefei Xie.

She was preceded in death by her father Sizhen Xie.

A visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois 60187, on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church, 1748 Blanchard St., Wheaton, Illinois 60189, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed via Zoom:
