Obituary
Jacqueline E. Shaffer, age 90, of The Meadows of Glen Ellyn, IL, died October 13. She was born in Glenmora, LA February 6, 1916. She was a long time resident of Hillsboro, OH and resided in Diamondhead MS for ten years.Mrs. Shaffer was an active member of St.Thomas Episcopal Church. She was a graduate of Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans, and spent her career as a registered nurse.
She is survvied by her daughter Dianne(David) Lambert, her son David (Rosemary) Shaffer, her brother D. J. Milner Jr; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Lambert, Nelson (Lali) Shaffer, and Ashley (Todd) Hymel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Hugh E.Shaffer, and her parents, Dufer J. Milner Sr.and Lucille Fowler.
Services are pending. Interment will be held at the Masonic Cemetery in Lynchburg, OH at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility 1347 Crystal Ave. Naperville, IL 60563 or St. Thomas Episcopal Church 5303 Diamondhead Circle Diamondhead, MS 39525.
