Isidro "Sid" Casimiro, age 76, a resident of Wheaton, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  He was born August 19, 1945 in Lopez Quezon, Philippines to Sancho & Soledad Casimiro.

He has six sisters & he was the oldest sibling. He graduated from San Juan de Letran in Manila, PH with a Bachelor's Degree in management. He came to the United States in 1980 & moved to Wheaton. He married Christina Lacson on April 29, 1981, and only had one child, Christine. He was very interested in technology & worked in IT & Field Marketing.

Sid was a sweet, funny, friendly, caring, hardworking, & generous man. He was very much into music when he was younger and used to be a drummer in a band. He had a great singing voice & loved to sing karaoke. He enjoyed watching his favorite Chicago sports teams; Cubs, Bulls, Blackhawks, & Bears. He loved his family & his dogs, Mia, Cubbie, & Athena.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Christina; his daughter Christine Casimiro; his mother Soledad Casimiro; his six sisters Marietta Abella, Rebecca Casimiro, Imelda (Quero) Teng, Susan (Terry) Butterfield, Edith Roa & Alice (Juan) Torres; his sister-in-laws Marcelina Lacson and Daly Lacson; and many nieces & nephews including Annalissa (Edward) Yamashita, Jenine (Philip) Rolfe, Elaine (Dan) Cameron, Krystal (Joe) Lachitavongs, Justin Butterfield, Ryan (Joleah) Teng, Jenny (Jason) Balingcongan, & Millette (Ramon) Ricafrente.

He was preceded in death by his father Sancho Casimiro, his brother-in-law & best friend Norberto Lacson, & his first dog, Jordan.

A Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Wheaton, Illinois. 60187. Chapel prayers begin Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Marks Catholic Church for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed through this link: Isidro "Sid" Casimiro's Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. CST. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
