Obituary

Isabel Catherine Darnell, a resident of Wheaton, and formerly of Elgin, died Friday, November 4, at Wynscape Nursing Center. She was born August 7, 1918 in Chicago.

Isabel was a member of Village Bible Church in Carol Stream. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was known for "Street Evangelism".

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Leonard) Santora of Carol Stream; three sons, Bob (Pat) Weidman of Elmhurst, Peter (Frances) Weidman of Wheaton, and Tom (Cindy) Darnell of Sarasota, FL; ten grandchildren, Richard, JoAnn, and Taffy, Correne and Joseph, Racheal and Tom, Jr., and Melissa, Lenny and Hannah; and six great-grandchildren; Lyndsey, Brian, Kelly, Katie, Paige, and Colton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Darnell; and her son, Michael Weidman.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, from 2:00 P.M. until the time of a service at 2:30 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin.
