Irene Garcia Morales, age 81, a resident of Schaumburg, IL, died May 4, 2014, at Lexington Health Care Center in Schaumburg, IL. She was born December 20, 1932 in Puerto Rico.

She is survived by her husband, Onesimo Cruz Sabater; her sons, Luis I Cruz and Jose E Cruz; her daughters, Alma L. Cruz Auchstetter and Maria S. Cruz; her grandchildren, Erik Cruz, Rosanne Taina Cruz, Kristina Cruz, Amelia Auchstetter, Elena Auchstetter, Diamari Hilerio, Lucas Auchstetter and Rodney Hilerio; and her great-grandchild, Landon Cruz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Garcia and Francisca Morales; her siblings, Miriam Garcia, Julio E Garcia and Samuel Garcia; and her daughter, Iris Yolanda Cruz Garcia.

All services will be held in Puerto Rico. Interment will be held at Municipal Ponce Cemetery in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
