Obituary
Ione Louise Siegfried, 85, of Horseshoe Bend, AR, and formerly of Elmhurst, died Saturday, September 11 in Mountain Home, AR. She was born July 26, 1919 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Charles W. and Amanda (nee Titel) Siegfried.
Ione served as a nurse in the Army Air Corps during World War II. She was an active member for many years at the Grace Bible Church where she served as the Missions Treasurer. She also worked as an office nurse for a number of years for Doctors Brumme & Bartels.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Pauline Siegfried of Bensenville; and one niece, Carol (Robert) Johanson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Halleen in 2003; and her two brothers, Lloyd and Lester Siegfried.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Grace Bible Church, 398 Eggleston Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the mission fund of the church. Private interment at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.
