A memorial service for Mrs. Ingrid Sellmann, 74, formerly of Randolph, NJ, will be held 11:30 AM, on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 40 Coleman Road, Long Valley, NJ.
Born December 18, 1931 in Morristown, NJ, the daughter of the late Fred and Frieda Scholz, she passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility, in Naperville, Illinois.
A graduate of Morristown High School, Ingrid earned her bachelor's degree in music and history from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN. She was an accomplished vocalist, pianist, actress and model. Ingrid performed in many productions during the 1950's and early 1960's with The Masterworks Chorus, Music Mountain and Gristmill Playhouse. She also served for more than 50 years as a church organist, choir director and vocalist for several Lutheran churches.
Ingrid was the beloved wife of David Sellmann; loving mother of Sharon and Wood Winslow and Gail and Matt Sullivan; proud grandmother of Shannon, Lucia, Christa, Bonnie, Pageen, Monica, Davide; cherished sister of Fred Scholz Jr.; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend to many.
