Ingeborg A. Ball, age 92, a resident of Harvard, IL and formerly of Des Plaines, and Wheaton; went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, June 25, at Mercy Hospital in Harvard. She was born May 28, 1915 in Batavia, IL.
Ingeborg began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Des Plaines. She then worked in Wheaton at Parkway for many years. She retired only two years ago from Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream. She was an active member of the Des Plaines Bible Church and then the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.
She is survived by her three children, Carna Schroder of FL, Sandra (Leo) Von Busch of Des Plaines, and John (Faith) Ball of Harvard; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Arnold (Marion) Stenman of Batavia.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd J. Ball; her second husband, Earle S. Ball; four sisters, Signe Swanson, Charlotte Swanson, Marjorie Mair, and Nancy Shumway; and her brother, Everett Stenman.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, from 5-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace.
