Ilse Grupp, 89, of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL, beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Richard (Pat) Grupp of Kalamazoo, MI, Ralph (Donna) Grupp of Oswego and Robert (Jan) Grupp of Charlevoix, MI; proud grandmother of Sherry, Jeffrey, Kristine, Jennifer, Michael, Karen and Bryan; great-grandmother of ten; daughter of the late Albert and Olga Schroter; and sister of the late Lotte Williams. Born, Mar 26, 1922 in Hildesheim, Germany, she died Wed, Sept 28, 2011, at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream. Ilse came to America at age 16 where she met Bill Grupp at Forest Park Baptist Church. They were married in 1940. They lived in Maywood, Elmhurst and Warrenville. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Elmhurst. After Bill retired, they enjoyed traveling.
