Holly Covic, 65, of Wheaton, beloved wife for almost 45 years of Daniel Covic Sr.; dear mother of Daniel (Laurie) Covic Jr., and Peter (Annelie) Covic; proud grandmother of Brandon, Natalia, Kelly, and Sara; daughter of the late Louis and the late Lucille Button; sister of Louis, Carlyle, Bethyl Ann, Ariel, Della, and Faye, sister-in-law of Ned (Mary) Covic. Born June 1, 1939 in Genoa City, WI, Mrs. Covic went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 27 at Weiss Mem'l Hospital in Chicago. She worked for School Dist. 148 in Dolton as a Special Education secretary for 26 years. Holly and her beloved husband enjoyed traveling in their retirement years and especially loved vacations in Europe, primarily in Dan's native Croatia. While Holly was not Croatian, she developed a deep affection for it's culture and people and learned to speak the language quite fluently. Holly had natural musical and linguistic abilities. She was an extremely devoted wife, mother and grandmother and considered this to be her vocation. She was loved by many. Visitation, Mon., Jan. 31, from 2-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N.
