Chrusciel, Henry 1949-2015
After a fierce and brave battle with cancer, Henry found healing in his heavenly body at the side of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. True love and soulmate of wife Debra, proudest father of Jeffrey (Kelly), and Russell (Karna). Awesome grandpa of Emma, Annika, Madison, Sadie, Kyle, Lucy, and Ryan.
Also survived by sister Yolanda, brother Christopher, dear in laws, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Polish immigrants Walter and Pelagia,and sister Sophia. Their family came to the Chicago area in 1956. Through the years, Henry became a true friend, Christian role model,and encourager to many.
A staunch supporter of the UAW, Henry retired from Navistar (formerly International Harvester) in 2006. U.S. Army veteran, served in Korea. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 22nd, from 3 pm - 9 pm, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton. Funeral will be at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Avenue, West Chicago, at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 23rd. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice. 630-668-0027
