Henry Chaltin, age 88, a resident of Glendale Heights, IL, died on Monday, February 4, 2019, at GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights, Illinois. He was born March 11, 1930 to James and Margaret Chaltin.

Henry grew up in Maywood and graduated from Proviso East High School. He worked hard in many jobs including, ComEd, the City of Chicago and several local trucking companies. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good beer, football, fishing and family.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Lori) Chaltin of Lombard, one grandson, Alex Chaltin, one brother, James Chaltin of Elgin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara in 2017, his parents and two brothers, Richard and Artie Chaltin.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
