Our dear mother Helen Truong sadly passed away on February 20th, at the age of 49. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

A compassionate and dedicated follower of Buddhist teachings, she spent her later life helping others and spreading kindness across the world. She traveled extensively, learning alongside many others within her Buddhist community as they visited Nepal, India, France, and Tibet, among many other countries.

She found joy in meditation, yoga, and nature, and was an active member of Buddhist organizations, contributing to spiritual and community initiatives.

Helen's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to peace, compassion, and service. She touched countless lives and will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, and dedication to making the world a better place.

She is survived by her husband, Hoa Nguyen and her children, Hieu, Tri, Duc, and An as well as her siblings.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 565 Randy Road, Carol Stream, Illinois 60188, where a service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
