Helen F. Martinez, age 93, a longtime resident of Warrenville, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. She was born July 23, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Frank & Helen Zitek. After growing up in Chicago, she married and moved to Warrenville in 1969 where she raised three children.

Helen was a faithful member of St. Irene Catholic Church. She loved to travel with her sister, Olga, and they had many great adventures together. Helen worked in the Recovery Room at Central DuPage Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her sister Olga V. Zitek; her son David Martinez; and her grandson Daniel (Laura) Weiland. She was preceded in death by her husband Noel, her son Michael and her daughter Linda Weiland.

Inurnment will be held at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.
