Helen Catanzaro, age 95, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died November 22, 2018, at Johnson Health Care Center in Carol Stream, Illinois, with her family nearby. She was born February 28, 1923 in Beroun, MN.

She was born on a family farm in Beroun. After high school she moved to Minneapolis, where she worked in banking and insurance. Her career took her to New York, Milwaukee, and finally Chicago where she met her future husband Charles. They got married at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago on February 4th, 1961. Settling in Lombard they raised their family. She became very active in the Lombard Service League and Lombard Historical Society.

She is survived by her children, Sandra (Jim) Moe of Wheaton, IL, and John (Cheryl) Catanzaro, of Wheaton, IL; her grandchildren Samantha and Joey Catanzaro, Natalie and Jaime Moe; her beloved niece Geralyn and her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Anthony Catanzaro; her parents Joseph and Barbara Kub; her brothers Paul and Charles Kub.

A visitation will be held Tuesday November 27, 2018 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187, from 10:00 A.M. until the start of service at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421.
