Obituary

Helen Butler Moore, 91 of Wheaton Illinois and formerly of Tinley Park Illinois, died on January 2, 2009. She was born June 10, 1917 in Salisbury North Carolina, graduating from Salisbury High School and Salisbury Business College.

She and her husband, William F. Moore owned and operated the Ben Franklin store in Tinley Park for many years, and she was active in the Methodist Church there.

She is survived by her daughter Lynn Moore Hampson (husband Daniel) and grandson Matthew Hampson; her sister Betty Longhill of Dallas, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Moore, her parents DeWitt and Minnie Butler, her sisters, Frances Spruill and Margaret Fisher, and her brother DeWitt Butler.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4 from 2:30 until the time of a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Skyline Cemetery in Monee, Illinois.
