Helen Heise Adelizzi, age 95, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, IL, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2016. She was born December 16, 1920 in Chicago to Jon and Marie Petrovic. Helen grew up in Chicago, one of seven children. She met Edward Heise while working at Western Electric. They were married in 1941 and he soon went to war. After the war they lived in Logan Square and then Westchester where they raised their son. In 1973 they moved to Glen Ellyn. Helen worked at Keebler Biscuit in Elmhurst for 29 years. After Edward's death in 1985, she married Albert Adelizzi, a co-worker at Keebler. They moved to Windsor Park in 1999. She enjoyed crafts, coins and investing. She is survived by her son, Craig (Barbara) Heise of Springfield, three grandchildren, Jeffrey Heise, Jennifer (Jason) Zieren and Jason Heise, four great-grandchildren, Matthew Heise, David Heise, Isabella Zieren and Carter Zieren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Heise and Albert Adelizzi, and six siblings. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Windsor Park , 120 Windsor Park Drive Carol Stream, IL 60188.
