Obituary
Harold C. Osberg, age 90, a resident of Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Rockford, died Wednesday, May 31 at the Alpine Fireside Health Center. He was born on July 17, 1915 in Chicago to Carl and Selma Osberg.
Mr. Osberg was a professor at Trinity International University, Bannockburn, IL until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church of Rockford and formerly an active member of First (Summerdale) Evangelical Free Church of Chicago. He was a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife, June H., nee Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 10 a.m. at First Ev. Free Church, 2223 N. Mulford Rd., Rockford with visitation prior to the service.
Interment will take place at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
Memorials may be directed to Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center, 3470 N. Alpine Rd., Rockford, IL 61114 or Trinity International University, 2065 Half Day Rd., Deerfield, IL.
