Hans-Joachim G. Mollenhauer, 84, of Morton Grove, Illinois, died October 2nd at his home. He was born in Koenigsberg, Germany and spent his youth living in Berlin. Dr. Mollenhauer traveled extensively, working with UNESCO in India, the Canadian National Railroad, and then taught foreign languages at North Park University for over thirty years.

He is survived by his wife, Ilse, his son, Ralph (Linda Ryan), and two grandchildren, Peter and Julia, and his brother Peter (Carol). He was preceded in death by his brother Guenter.

A memorial service will be held at the Central Baptist Village (Chapel), 4747 N. Canfield, Norridge, Illinois on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 2pm.
