Gundy Sprouse, age 85, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died peacefully on July 2, 2025.  She was born July 14, 1939 in Elmhurst Illinois to Herman and Hedwig Block.

She is survived by her beloved husband Frank; her daughters, Cheryl Knoner of Coralville, IA and Julie Sprouse of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Aaron, Madeleine, and Abigail Knoner, and Jack, Riley, and Ava Verleger; and her sister Thea Wolf of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.

Gundy was preceded in death by her brothers, Sigmond Block and Eberhardt Block.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th, at 11:00 am at the College Church in Wheaton, 332 E. Seminary Ave, Wheaton, IL., preceded by a visitation from 9:30-11:00 am at the church.  A graveside service will take place at 2:00pm at Oakridge Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
