Grace Foster (Denham), age 93, a resident of Central Baptist Village in Norridge, died Friday, September 9, 2011, at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. She was born on September 4, 1918 in Chicago to John and Elizabeth Schulenburg.

She stayed in the Chicago area all through school and graduated from Wheaton College. She married Maurice Denham in 1946, and had twin sons, Robert and David in 1948. They moved to the west coast (California) in 1954 where Maurice served as a pastor at a local church. Grace was actively involved in playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, and being a help to her husband.

She eventually moved to the east coast after her husband passed away in 1974. She remarried in 1982 and stayed in Boston until 1998 when she moved back to Chicago and moved into Central Baptist Village with her other two sisters; Ruth and Virginia, both who have preceded her in death.

Grace is survived by her two sons; Robert who lives in Oregon, and David who lives in So. California, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; three nephews from her brother Ray; Gordon, Roger and Dick Schulenburg.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Village, 4747 North Canfield Ave., Norridge, IL 60706 where a funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois.
