Glenn W. Miller, age 86, a resident of Batavia and formerly of Bartlett, IL, died February 13, 2016 at home. He was born October 8, 1929 in Zion to Cecil H. and Edna Miller, the sixth child of twelve.

Glenn worked at Acme Screw Company in Wheaton from 1950 until 2000. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is survived by his children, Glenn Miller Jr., Karen (John) Hughes, and Linda Emmering; grandchildren, Billy (Lisa) Shakespeare, Tim Hughes, Alan (Roslyn) Jr. Emmering, Steven Emmering, and Michael Emmering; great-grandchildren Luke Shakespeare and Roman Hughes; and three siblings, Doloris, Marsha and Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Irene Miller, son-in-law Alan Emmering Sr. and eight siblings.

Services will be privately held.
