On Sunday, July 5, 2020, Gladys L. Krier, age 96, fell asleep in the Lord at West Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bloomingdale, Illinois.  A resident of both Chicago and Arizona, she was born October 29, 1923 in Chicago to Oliver and Gladys Martin. Well-known for her trust in God and a lifelong Bible student, Gladys was loved and respected by many.  She will be remembered for her selflessness and willingness to help others.

She is survived by her children, John Krier (Marge) and Oliver Krier; siblings Dennis Martin (Vicki) of Oakdale, MN and Margaret Joyce of Carol Stream; sister-in-law Estelle Martin (wife of brother Glenn); grandchildren Wendy Stahl and Kelly Lee.  In addition, her extended family includes nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by siblings Olive, Glenn, Paul, and Donald Martin; and brother-in-law Ronald Joyce.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
