Gladys M. Bell's Obituary
Gladys M. Bell, age 89, formerly a longtime resident of Sunbury and Danville, PA, died on Monday, January 7 in Batavia, Illinois. She was born on April 7, 1918 in Herndon, PA to Jerry and Luma Hollenbach.
She was a member of the Sunbury Bible Fellowship Church, where she was a member of the Senior Saints. She was an actively involved with the Riverfront Apartment Senior group where she was involved in crafts, Bingo, and the Bible study group.
Gladys is survived by four children, Mark (Diana) Reed of Lake Ariel, PA, Linda (Bill) Cates of Carol Stream, IL, Ralph (Cathy) Bower of Wheaton, IL and Bob (Debbie) Bower of Lexington Park, MD, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren, and seven siblings.
A funeral service will be held at the Sunbury Bible Fellowship Church on Monday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m., friends may visit with the family from 9 until 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Danville.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
