Obituary
Gertrude E. Lovejoy, age 98, a resident of Carol Stream, and formerly of Woodbury, MN, died Thursday, December 2, at Johnson Healthcare Center in Carol Stream. She was born September 27, 1906 in Hastings, MN.
Gertrude was the last surviving of thirteen children born to Nels and Anna Hagen. She was a faithful attender of the First Baptist Church of Hastings, MN for many years.
She is survived by her two children, June (George) Jacobs Pinger of Ham Lake, MN, and Richard (Ruth) Jacobs of Carol Stream; six grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Jacobs; and her second husband, Ralph Lovejoy.
Services and interment will be held in Hastings, MN.
