Obituary

Geraldine Lee McCullough, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, was born January 15, 1923, in Greenwich, Ohio and peacefully passed into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of Velma and Charles Funk. Her husband of 61 years, Dean Ellsworth McCullough, died in October of 2001.

Geraldine is survived by her two sons and their wives -- Larry D. and Ruth McCullough of Nashville, TN; and Lee E. and Bonnie McCullough of Wheaton, IL. Also, there are five surviving grandchildren: Michael and Kristin McCullough, Dan and Linda McCullough, Rebecca and Trey Robinson, Lori and Todd Fedele, and Amy McCullough. Also, there are ten great grandchildren.

Geraldine grew-up and raised her children on a farm in north-central Ohio. She served as a homemaker and later as a business woman in sales and as a bridal consultant. She lived for 40 years in Honolulu, HI, before moving back to the mainland in 2005. She was a great prayer warrior and a woman of strong faith, and God used her often to encourage others in the Christian faith. In her later years, as her hearing and eyesight failed, she loved to read her Bible and spend time praying for those with physical and spiritual needs. She leaves behind a strong legacy of prayer and faith.
