Geraldine L. Craig's Obituary
Geraldine L. Craig, age 90, a resident of Lombard, IL, died July 2, 2014. She was born on January 15, 1924 in Cleveland, OH.
Gerry and her husband Paul Craig, served 20 years as missionaries in Nigeria, Africa under Sudan Interior Mission (SIM). They returned to Shaker Heights, Ohio before moving to Wheaton, Illinois in 1972. Gerry taught high school English at Glenbard South in Glen Ellyn until she retired.
In her spare time Gerry taught English as a second language, helped lead women's Bible studies and worshiped at Moody Church in Chicago where her husband Paul was on staff.
Gerry is survived by her three children: Karen Johnson (Terrence Johnson, DVM), Nancy Lagerfeldt (Dave Lagerfeldt) and Jim Craig (Kandace Craig). She also has three grandchildren: Elizabeth Cogbill, MD (Christopher Cogbill, MD), Kristen Johnson, JD, Philip Johnson and two great grandchildren, Grant Hull Cogbill and Eveyly Yost Cogbill.
A private interment will will take place at Wheaton Cemetery.
