Geraldine Chester's Obituary
Geraldine Chester, age 97, a resident of Wheaton, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at home. She was born February 13, 1912 in Milan, MO.
She is survived by her two grandsons, Robert (Ann) Chester of Mountain Home, AR, and Steven (Jodie) Chester of Carol Stream, IL; six great grandchildren, Jesse Chester, Janelle (Joshua) Kaminski and Nicole (Christopher) Carter, and Matthew, Amy and Rachel Chester; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Chester in 1981; her son, James H. Chester in 1994; and all of her brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary, in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary, Wheaton, IL 60187.
