Gerald "Gerry" Huson, age 73, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born in Oak Park IL. on June 22, 1941 to Ira and Lois Huson.

The family moved to Warrenville, IL where Gerry attended Wheaton Christian Grammar school and graduated from Wheaton Central High School.

He worked his entire life as a printer, beginning at Hitchcock Publishing in Wheaton IL. Gerry retired in 2006 from JM Printing in Addison IL.....and worked in Chicago for many years for Burke Communications.

He is survived by his wife Connie of 51 years, and son Robert of Carol Stream where they lived for thirty years. He is also survived by his sister Gloria Ford of Massachussets.....and a brother Phil Huson of KS. He was preceded in his death by his parents.

Gerry loved working in his yard with landscape and gardening projects of flowers and shrubs. He enjoying cooking all kinds of different foods. He was also a devoted animal lover of his beloved cats throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the DuPage Humane Society would be welcomed.
