George John Timko's Obituary
George Timko, age 86, a longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born July 2, 1929 in Chicago, IL.
George worked for WBBM-CBS Radio as a scheduler, and then later for J Arthur Rank Video Productions as a Video producer. He was a member of the Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church, and was a regular attendee at Wheaton Bible Church where his wife was a member. He was an avid reader and was good at fixing things. He loved his dogs and considered them his babies, especially Molly, whom he considered a gift from God.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Miriam Helen Timko; his cousin, John (Nancy) Palla; and his Molly, the family pet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Emma Timko.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
