Genevieve Hardt, age 98, a longtime resident of Hinsdale, died Monday, February 11, at Wood Glen Pavilion in West Chicago. She was born June 18, 1909 in Maywood, IL.
Before returning to Illinois, Genevieve enjoyed 18 years of retirement with her husband, Henry, in Fairfield Bay, AR.
She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Kissane of Glendale Heights, Judith Hardt of Pismo Beach, CA; six grandchildren, Paula A. (Gary) Minardi, Jill M. (Craig) Quinte, Steven D. (Lisa) Shannon, Michael L. (Antoinette) Shannon, Shawn P. Martens, and Todd S. (Denisa) Martens; and eleven great-grandchildren, Brian, Brendan, Kevin, Nicolas, Delaney, Natalie, Hayley, Sydney, Michael, Jenna, and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henry; her two sons, William and Edward Hardt; her three brothers, Herbert, Willard, and Richard Munro; and her sister, Doris Munro.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment is private.
