Genevieve P. Christ, age 89, a resident of Naperville, formerly of Palm Springs, California, went to the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Tabor Hills Health Care Center in Naperville, Illinois. She was born April 13, 1925 in Muskegon, Michigan to George and Frances Peliotes.

Gen married C.A. Christ on August 18, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. The family moved the the Chicagoland area and lived in Western Springs until 1998, whereupon she and her husband moved to Palm Springs, California until 2012. Moving back to the Chicagoland area where she lived with her daughter Helen until her death.

Her greatest joys were teaching little ones the joy of learning and raising her two children.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Christ of Hanover Park, her daughter-in-law, Karen Christ and her granddaughter, Alexandra Grace Christ both of Walla Walla, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.A. Christ, Ed.d and her son, Alex C. Christ, M.D.

Services will be held privately.
