Frank Tschermak, age 93, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was born September 6, 1929 in Brestowatz, Banat, Yugoslavia to Franz & Theresa Tschermak.

Frank and his wife Elisabeth came to the United States in 1950 and started a new life and a family.

He worked as the building engineer at Lincoln National Bank for 33 years and took great pride in his job.  In 33 years, outside of vacations, he never missed a day of work.

He also took great pride in the successes of his four grandsons.

After 63 years of marriage, Elisabeth passed away and Frank moved to Wyndemere to be closer to his family.  He made many new friends there and enjoyed his last years as a resident of Wynscape where they took good care of him.

He will be missed.

He is survived by his daughters Eva (Frank) Marrano & Elizabeth (Michael) LaFortune; his grandchildren Christopher (Diane) LaFortune, Sean (Alison) LaFortune, Brandon (Andrea) Kielkiewicz & Justin (Robin) Marrano; and his four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elisabeth and his son Frank (the late Betty)Tschermak.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 310 S Wheaton Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187 , where a funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to American Heart Association .
