Frank Ledvora, age 88, a resident of Wheaton since 1993, and formerly of Morton Grove, died on Friday, December 5, peacefully with his six children by his side. He was born on September 1, 1920 in Chicago.
He was a WWII Army Veteran who served in the South Pacific. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and most of all family.
Frank is survived by his six children, Rosemary Gullikson of Wheaton, Ron Ledvora of Berwyn, Kathleen Ard of Wheaton, Gerard (Nicki) Ledvora of Wauconda, Joe (Sri) Ledvora of Wheaton, and Gina (Rob) Sheridan of Wheaton, 13 grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Regina (Richard) Hanson of McHenry.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend, Rita in 2007.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11:30 am on Saturday, December 6 at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
