Francine Pearl Hiben, age 85, a resident of Wheaton, IL, and formerly of Western Springs, IL, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at home. She was born March 16, 1931 in Geneva, IL.

Francine grew up in West Chicago, IL. After studying at the Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, she worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She was a devoted mother and a friend to many, and very much loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Milan; two children, Bradley (Teri) Hiben of Glen Ellyn, IL, and Ellen (Jim) Legvold of Willow Park, TX; six grandchildren, Steve, Daniel and Mark Hiben, Melissa and Tanner Legvold, and Annabel Hiben; her sister, Allison Whiteside; and her daughter-in-law, Denise Hiben.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Hiben.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of a memorial service to be held at 11:00 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private.
