Frances A. Redelman, age 91, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at DuPage Care Center in Wheaton, IL. She was born March 15, 1927 in Chicago, IL.

Frances grew up in Chicago. She was a waitress for many years. When her children were young she was a Blue Bird leader. She was known as a very kind person who loved to socialize and entertain people. Her family particularly loved her homemade spaghetti and lemon meringue pie.

She is survived by four children, Fritz (Kathy) Redelman of Schaumburg, IL, Florann Redelman of Loves Park, IL, Jennie Redelman of Oak Park, IL and Raymond Redelman of Wheaton, IL; three grandchildren, Sandra Kigar, Jason (Sarah) Redelman and Caleb (Ashley) Redelman; and nine great-grandchildren, Kyle Wallace, Jarrid Kigar, Thomas Thompson, Ilona Redelman, Elise Redelman, Abilene Redelman, Oliver Redelman, Selah Redelman and Savannah Redelman.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, James Redelman. She was also one of six siblings. Frances and her sister, Mary Lobreto, were the only two to survive past the age of eleven. Mary and her husband, Anson, both preceded Frances in death.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until the start of a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
