Frances Jean Martin (Frannie) age 86, a resident of West Chicago, IL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was born March 31, 1936, in Chicago to Peter and Teresa Pero.

Frannie grew up in Chicago on Taylor Street, in the heart of Little Italy. She later moved to Wheaton, and then West Chicago. Frannie was a stay at home mom when her kids were young, and then a secretary and an owner of a furniture consignment shop.

Frannie had many interests including her love of decorating, gardening, cooking, sewing, history, PBS, and all things Italian. Frannie had strong faith, and many dear friends through the church.

She is survived by her children Lisa Martin, Mary (Steve) Henningson, Nancy (Don) Hull, Joan (Tim) Murrin, John (Anna) Martin; her grandchildren Danny (Vicky) Martin, Sean (Lisa) Simons, Kailey (Andy) Bocanegra, DJ (Carly) Hull, Marina Martin, Joey (Celina) Hull, Kyra Burke, Matthew Martin, and Giuliana Martin; her great grandchildren Joey and Hailey, and her siblings Mary Parelli, Bob (Irene) Pero, and (Vicky)Pero. And preceded in death by Frank and (Dorothy) Pero, William Parelli, Joseph (Lenore) Pero, and John Pero.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
