FRANCES A. KAY, a resident of Eureka Springs, AR, was born November 8, 1919 in Wheaton, IL, a daughter of William and Alvina (Buhr) Gauger. She departed this life Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Fayetteville, AR at the age of 89 years.
Mrs. Kay was a member of the Lone Star Bible Church of the Protestant faith. She worked as a secretary for an advertising agency.
On July 20, 1940 Frances was united in marriage with A. Stuart Kay who survives her of the home. She is also survived by one daughter, Fran and husband Don Thompsen of Wheaton, IL; one sister, Elizabeth Shepard of Naperville, IL; three grandchildren, Jessica Poole, Matthew Poole and Christopher Poole all of Wheaton, IL; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services are pending in Wheaton. Interment will be in Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
